St. Paul Lutheran Church is a confessional Lutheran church. This means we follow the Lutheran Confessions which are a summary of the Christian faith as found in the scriptures. You therefore can expect that we strive to be consistent with the Lutheran Confessions, as documented in the Formula of Concord, in what we believe, teach, and confess.
If you are new to the Christian faith, we would love to have you join us for Sunday School, held each Sunday at 9:30AM. It is in the adult class of Sunday School where you will learn more from the scriptures, and also be exposed to Lutheran understanding of the scriptures. You can expect that we upload the scriptures as the Apostle Paul wrote to his son in the faith, Timothy - 16All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work. (2Ti 3:16-17 from NASB95) Since God breathed out His word to about 40 different men over the course of 1600 years, we accept that the scriptures do not contain any errors. What God wrote through these men is what He intended in revealing Himself to His people.
